Keynote Interview

YMF is pleased to announce our 2022 keynote interview is two legends of the music industry Alan McGee is a Scottish businessman and music industry executive. He has been a record label owner, musician, manager, and music blogger for The Guardian. He is best known for co-founding and running the independent Creation Records label and is the man who discovered & signed Oasis.

Also on stage will be Korda Marshell famed for creating Infectious Music which he sold to BMG, the Berlin-based media company and now runs their front-line record company in London. He has recently resigned as Chairman of the OCC (Official Chart Company) having navigated the transition of streaming into the single and album charts. He also sits on various boards including The BPI and The BRITS Trust.
